![]() Head over to Henselt's tent at #2 after sundown (23:00). Unfortunately, not everything went as planned. Once you cut off the curse from Henselt during The Blood Curse, he'll invite you to his tent ( #2) to celebrate the successful ritual. ![]() This step is optional though and you can only do it when you complete the side quest Lost Lambs. Probably not one-on-one though, he can apparently block any attack from the front.First information on the assassins you can get while talking to the elf prisoner at #1. If the dream hadn't automatically ended when his hp hit 50%, them i'm confident that I could have beaten him, even with his spamming Signs. In contrast, the battle with Geralt was actually really easy, i just waited for him to attack, blocking light attacks or meeting heavy ones with a light of my own, keeping him stun-locked for the entire fight while my buddy slashed his back up. It was like playing Blind-Minesweeper, but I did eventually get through. That said, I did manage to brute-force the mission by saving after every single step, then picking directions at random until I got one that didn't hurl me into a loading screen with no warning. Probably intended to make you do the whole "walk exactly where I walk" thing, which would actually be pretty cool if there were traps around when you had to do that, instead of your "Guide" just taking random turns around completely invisible traps, (and apparantly walking clean through at-least two of the invisible ones) Stepping on any of the traps is a trigger-point for that, and there seems to be a bunch of trigger points for it that are completely disconnected from traps. If there was a "you failed" screen it would be less frustrating, because I could just reload, but instead i have to wait for a loading screen, then a short close-up of geralt's ugly mug, then i finally regain control and can reload the game.īy "failing the quest" i mean getting kicked out of the dream, and having to start again (which blocks you from getting the necromancer achievement,) Now i'm going to ignore where he walks and try and outright brute-force my way through this invisible instafail minefield, to see if I can actually continue with this game. I have one save where i just entered through the door, and taking a single step fails me (regardless of which direction the step is taken in) and another which can get five or ten steps in, but then fails. Reason aside, there is a trigger that fails the quest in an area with no visible traps, in the exact path that the man you are supposed to be following's is taking, so his "follow in my footsteps" advice makes the game impassible. Perhaps there was a trap here, but you removed it? but didn't move the trigger? Whatever triggers you have set up, to tell when you are standing on a trap, so the mission knows to kick you out, are obviously grossly misplaced. I am following in the other assassins exact footsteps, and yet the game seems to think I've failed before I even get to the section of the path that actually contains traps. The closest trap is over a hundred meters away. Now, before we get the obvious "solution" response, I'm not stepping on traps, i'm not stepping near traps. Taking a single step now ends the "dream" and forces me to retry, then i get to the same section and it does it again. I'm playing on PC and am currently at the Necromantic ritual part of the Assassins of Kings quest, just entered the "Blue Dream" killed the harpies and enter the "trap segment" I found a bug that seems to have made it totally impossible to continue the game.
